Congratulations to Boming Jia, who has been awarded the first annual Akos Seress Mathematics Scholarship (named for the late Dr. Akos Seress). Boming is an accomplished undergraduate Honors math major who has mentored the Math 4181H sequence and been one of the top two winners in the Rasor-Bareis-Gordon competition every year since freshman year. He has also been conducting Knot Theory research with Dr. Sergei Chmutov for three years.
