Jerry Baker is an Information Technology (IT) Program Manager at the consulting firm of Resources Global Professionals (RGP). Jerry has been in the IT field for more than forty years with 16 of those in the health care industry.

He has been responsible for numerous software development and implementation projects for a wide variety of businesses and public-sector organizations. Prior to joining RGP, Jerry was a consultant for two of the “Big Five” consulting firms as well as serving as the Chief Information Officer at three highly prominent Los Angeles area hospitals.

A hands-on, dedicated IT profession, Jerry has assisted clients in myriad of other important technology related activities ranging from information technology strategic planning to organization change management to technology acquisition. Drawing upon his expert knowledge of Implementation methodologies, Jerry helped create one of the first Project Management Offices (PMO) in Los Angeles.

Within Healthcare, Jerry and his staff of 50 were responsible all facets of information technology within the heat centers including operations, applications, business analytics, networks and telecommunications. When Meaningful Use Regulations were implemented, Jerry was instrumental helping his organization achieve the standards so it could maximize the associated incentives.

Jerry degrees include a B.S in Mathematics form Ohio State University, an M.S in Statistics from Florida State University, and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Jerry is a PMP certified.
