In this talk I will present some recent results in this area, including a sharp variant of the classical multiplier theorem of Hörmander, formulated in terms of fractional Lorentz-Sobolev spaces. Abstract: The problem of finding sharp sufficient conditions for boundedness of Fourier multiplier operators on different function spaces is one of the principal questions of harmonic analysis. In this talk I will present some recent results in this area, including a sharp variant of the classical multiplier theorem of Hörmander, formulated in terms of fractional Lorentz-Sobolev spaces.
