Celebration of Mind
This year, we are going to be celebrating Martin Gardner’s birthday at Clintonville’s Farmer’s Market with a lot of fun hands-on activities for people from all ages.
Martin Gardner was a mathematics writer. He devoted his life to creating and studying mathematical puzzles. For many years, he had a column at Scientific American where he wrote about these puzzles.
Every year around his birthday, people from all over the country organize math and puzzle related activities to honor him, in what’s called Celebration of Mind.
