Speaker: Richard Hasenauer - Northeastern State University
Title: Class groups and atomicity in Prufer domains.
Abstract: The class group yields a great amount of information about atomicity in Dedekind domains. We will see that the information garnered from the class group in Prufer domains is not as clear. As a result, we turn our attention to the semiclass group. We will explicitly describe the semiclass group of a sequence domain and discuss the complexity of computing such an object.
