Title: Using Data to Improve Precalculus and Calculus Courses: An Ongoing Effort
Speaker: Wendy M. Smith - University of Nebraska–Lincoln
Abstract: I will share information on the precalculus and calculus improvement efforts at the University of Nebraska over the past decade, focused on how we collected and made use of local data to inform our efforts. I will discuss what we have changed, how we changed it, how we have been measuring the effectiveness of our changes, and how our changes have expanded to include more courses. Participants will be invited to discuss local change efforts and how data might be used to support improvement efforts.
