Title: André–Quillen homology and homological stability for GL_n(Z)

Abstract: I will discuss joint work in progress with Kupers and Patzt on slope 1 homological stability for general linear groups of some number rings. The main ingredient is a vanishing line for André–Quillen homology. By work of Galatius--Kupers--Randal-Williams, these André--Quillen homology groups are isomorphic to the equivariant homology of certain posets.
