Associated to each such series, we study its corresponding Dedekind symbol. In certain cases when the underlying group is arithmetic, we prove that the Dedekind symbols are rational numbers. In all cases, we prove various relations including a reciprocity law. The work is joint with Cormac O'Sullivan and Lejla Smajlovic.Seminar URL: https://research.math.osu.edu/numbertheory/number.php Math Tower 154 Department of Mathematics math@osu.edu America/New_York public

Abstract: Higher-order Eisenstein series are defined as convergent series which involve periods of a weight two holomorphic form. Associated to each such series, we study its corresponding Dedekind symbol. In certain cases when the underlying group is arithmetic, we prove that the Dedekind symbols are rational numbers. In all cases, we prove various relations including a reciprocity law. The work is joint with Cormac O'Sullivan and Lejla Smajlovic.
