Quantum Algebra & Quantum Topology - Dominic Williamson
Title: Symmetry-enriched topological tensor network states and graded fusion categories
Speaker: Dominic Williamson (Yale University)
Abstract: I will describe how studying symmetries of 2D tensor network wavefunctions with topological order led us to the theory of graded fusion categories. I will then move on to explain how one can extract emergent physical properties of a tensor network wavefunction from its symmetries.
Joint with NCGOA seminar.
