Radical Pi Meeting - Nicolae Anghel
Title: Geometrizing the Numbers
Speaker: Nicolae Anghel (University of North Texas)
Abstract: Ever since Descartes stamping numbers on geometry is more popular than geometrizing numbers. However, since they are backed by meaningful geometry shouldn’t complex numbers be more real than the real numbers? In this talk, partly mathematical and partly philosophical, this question will be pondered.
