TAs who have the opportunity to try the same in other courses, but without provided resources, may have concerns about how to implement a new teaching strategy within the confines of a tightly coordinated course. In this seminar, we will discuss my own attempts towards active learning in a coordinated calculus classroom. I’ll talk about some strategies I’ve tried, what I have liked about them, how my students have responded, and how I have refined my strategies over time. We will have plenty of time for questions and discussion about this topic. Cockins Hall 240 Department of Mathematics math@osu.edu America/New_York public
