Zassenhaus Lecture 1 - Alex Lubotzky
Title: Overlapping PropertiesSpeaker: Alex Lubotzky, Einstein Institute of MathematicsAbstract: Overlapping properties are various far reaching extensions of the following result: for every N points set P in the plane, there is a point Z which is covered by at least 2/9 of the ( N choose 3) triangles determined by P. Gromov have changed our point of view on this result but proving various surprising stronger forms and generalizations. This new approach calls for high dimensional expanders. Zassenhaus Poster 2014
