Title: Optimal behavior of the Laplace-Beltrami operator on the hyperbolic space

Abstract: We characterize in a sense optimal function norms in Sobolev-type inequalities on the hyperbolic space. We link the optimal function norms in Sobolev-type inequalities involving the hyperbolic gradient and the Laplace-Beltrami operator with the optimal function norms in their Euclidean counterparts.
