Analysis and Operator Theory Seminar - Kyle Hambrook
Title: Fourier Decay of Singular Measures, Salem Sets, and Metric Diophantine ApproximationSpeaker: Kyle Hambrook (University of Rochester)Abstract: I will discuss my recent work on the construction of non-random singular measures having optimal Fourier decay rate relative to the Hausdorff dimension of the support of the measure. These constructions have interesting connections with metric Diophantine approximation.
