Evaluation of Courses Taken Abroad

Students that have taken math courses outside the United States and Canada will need to submit additional documents to receive a course evaluation. Please review the documents required to courses taken outside the United States and Canada.

Courses Taken in the People's Republic of China


Students that have completed courses taken at a college or university in the People's Republic of China must provide the following for each course completed:

1. An original syllabus or course description with a university seal/stamp provided by the institution, seen on the right.

2.A certified translation of the course materials if not originally provided in English. Translations must include an official stamp from a certified translator, seen on the right.

3.The materials must include detailed information on the specific topics covered in the course, title and author name of the textbooks used, and contact information of your course instructor.

After acquiring the required materials, students should review Transfer Credit Evaluation Request for instructions for submitting the evaluation.

Courses Taken Outside of the US and Canada (Excluding People's Republic of China)


Students that have completed courses taken at a college or university outside the United States and Canada (excluding People's Republic of China) will need to submit additional materials. Students that have completed courses in the People's Republic of China need to review the Courses Taken in the People's Republic of China instructions.

Students will need to submit the following materials in addition to the required materials for an evaluation:

  1. Table of contents of the textbook
  2. Certified translation of materials not originally in English.

After acquiring the required materials, students should review Transfer Credit Evaluation Request for instructions for submitting the evaluation.
