Math Honors Track (without ASC Honors Contract)

Body

The Department of Mathematics has an honors track, allowing strong undergraduate students to take four years of honors math courses. It is not necessary to have honors standing within the College of Arts and Sciences to do the honors math track. This track should have at least a 3.20 math GPA (3.20 in all math courses that are included in this track) with at least a B- in each such math course.

Students with an ASC Honors designation have the opportunity to graduate with a math degree that has Honors Distinction in Mathematics. There are several additional requirements for this type of degree on top of the typical honors requirements.
