OSU Graduate Teaching Associate Award

Approximately 3,000 graduate students serve as Graduate Teaching Associates at OSU. Only ten recipients are selected to receive this award which is considered to be the highest recognition of exceptional teaching by a GTA. Recipients are awarded $1,500.

ASC Outstanding Graduate Teaching Associate Award

Each year the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council awards a Graduate Teaching Associate within the ASC in recognition of excellence in teaching. This achievement is remarkable in that only one recipient is chosen from the entire College of Arts and Sciences and is awarded $500.

Phil Huneke Distinguished Graduate Teaching Associate Award

This departmental award recognizes teaching and service to students. The recipients are mathematics graduate students who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom and a high level of commitment to undergraduate mathematics education. Each recipient is awarded $800.

1st Year Graduate Teaching Associate Award

This award recognizes outstanding first year Graduate Teaching Associates within the OSU Department of Mathematics. Within their first year they have demonstrated excellence in the classroom and a high level of commitment to undergraduate mathematics education.
