Jobs for Undergraduates

Working while you are in school is a great way to keep loan debt down and gain useful real-world work experience. OSU offers a number of employment opportunities in mathematics areas for undergraduate students.

Students are also encouraged to visit Student Employment to review all available job opportunities for OSU students.

Undergraduate Teaching Associateships

The Department of Mathematics hires qualified undergraduate students of any major to assist us in our teaching efforts. Students selected through the UTA selection process are offered Teaching Associateships to lead recitation sections in undergraduate mathematics courses. While serving as a UTA is a wonderful way to earn money, it is also a great opportunity to improve mathematical and communication skills. Visit Employment Opportunities for more information about the application and selection process.
