Dean Lampman Portrait

For 30 years, Dean has applied his love of mathematics to deliver significant measurable performance in over 300 organizations and counting... With every collaboration, he has shared his ability to quickly interpret complex business issues, develop comprehensive improvement strategies, design innovative solution models, and implement dramatic changes – lifting revenues, developing talent, and accelerating performance across the industries’ spectrum.  Partnering with leading business executives, his consulting teams have delivered an accumulated $2.5+ billion in annual client benefits.

While focused on delivering financial benefits with his clients (revenue, margin, and cash flow) through data analytics and tech-enabled performance improvements, Dean’s experience has shown engagements must also embed an equal measure of leadership & talent development, change management dynamics, and continuous learning pathways to be successful.  He is often requested to provide insights on organizational readiness for upcoming market challenges, assess trapped value levels in existing business models, and participate in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) due diligence activities.  Frequently, he is invited to provide operational turnaround leadership for companies under stress.

Prior to founding his practitioner-led consulting firm, Catalyft, Dean held multiple key executive positions, including 10 years as a Senior Partner, Executive Vice President of Logistics and Director of Operations + Presenting Lead Analyst for the Americas.  He has an extensive level of expertise working with senior management and private equity firms, and an industry diversity that has honed a capability for leveraging best practices both within and across multiple sectors.

As an alumnus of The Ohio State University Dean is honored to share his management consulting and entrepreneurial experiences with future OSU graduates through the College of Mathematics Advisory Board participation.  He is also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and Mensa.  When he’s not at work, Dean enjoys any activity involving outdoor adventures and, of course, Buckeye football.
