In this talk, I will discuss effective constructions of finer structures derived from the cup product on the cohomology of spaces. Together with unlocking finer cohomological structure, like Steenrod's operations, these effective constructions reveal combinatorial information that, as we will see, is connected to convex geometry and higher category theory.
