Graduate Student Seminar - Jason Bello
Title: An Introduction to Cyclic Particle Systems with Discordant Voting
Speaker: Jason Bello - The Ohio State University
Abstract: In this talk I'll introduce cyclic particle systems of $N$-colors as they were first studied on the integer lattice as well as relevant questions, results, and conjectures. For example, when does the process fluctuate or, conversely, fixate? Does clustering occur? Then I'll expand upon questions we can ask about the 3-color system on finite graphs and how different voting systems can affect these processes.
