Number Theory Seminar - Michał Zydor
Title: On the Global Gan-Gross-Prasad Conjecture Forunitary Groups
Speaker: Michał Zydor - University of Michigan
Abstract: I will discuss the global Gan-Gross-Prasad conjectures and their refinement due to Ichino-Ikeda in the case of unitary groups. I will present the ongoing work with Chaudouard on the relative trace formula (RTF) of Jacquet-Rallis which leads to new results. I will also discuss an extension of these conjectures to non-tempered packets that results from analysis of the fine spectral expansion of the RTF.
