Title: The Chow ring of the moduli space of triple covers of the projective lineSpeaker: Ravi Vakil (Stanford University)Abstract: I will describe how we can determine the Chow ring (with Q-coefficients) of the "Hurwitz space" parametrizing degree three covers of the projective line, as well as the rational Chow groups of various spaces of triple covers.
