Title: Morsifications and mutations - Lecture 3

Speaker: Sergey Fomin (University of Michigan)

Abstract: We will describe a surprising (and partly conjectural) connection between singularity theory and cluster algebras. To be more specific, the topology of isolated singularities of plane curves appears to be governed by the mutation equivalence of the quivers associated with their morsifications.

Joint work with Pavlo Pylyavskyy, Eugenii Shustin, and Dylan Thurston. This lecture will not rely on the previous two.
