Title: The Hörmander multiplier theorem: some recent developments

Speaker: Lenka Slavickova (University of Missouri)

Abstract: The problem of finding sharp sufficient conditions for boundedness of Fourier multiplier operators on different function spaces is one of the principal questions of harmonic analysis. In this talk I will present some recent results in this area, including a sharp variant of the classical multiplier theorem of Hörmander, formulated in terms of fractional Lorentz-Sobolev spaces. This is a joint work with Loukas Grafakos.
