Title: Well-posedness in the sense of Hadamard
Speaker: Feride Tiglay
Abstract: An initial value problem for a PDE is well-posed if a solution exists, it is unique and the initial data to solution map is continuous. We will start with some textbook examples and work our way to the well-posedness for some nonlinear PDE from mathematical physics in Sobolev and Besov spaces.
