In this talk, I will show how to prove a conflation of λ-directed systems in the category (λ, A) of λ-directed systems with each level a trivial conflation in Α is still trivial under some mild conditions and present some applications of this result. The proof is based on a technique which we call adjustment of splittings. This talk is based on joint work with Estrada, Herzog, and Odabaşi.  Title:  From local triviality to global triviality

Speaker:  Xianhui Fu (Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China)

Abstract:  Let A be an exact category, and λ a limit ordinal.
