Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Title
Tameness and transexponentialism

Abstract
Three and a half decades after first being posed, the question is still open as to whether there exist o-minimal expansions of the real field that are not exponentially bounded. This is particularly striking as there have always been some seemingly obvious candidates for examples. I will discuss this issue and some other related matters, in particular, whether there exists an o-minimal expansion of the ordered additive group of rational numbers that defines a unary function from a bounded set onto an unbounded set.
