Title
Two problems about zeta zeros and where they meet
Abstract
We discuss two classical problems about the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. The first concerns the proportion of zeros on the critical line, while the second concerns the distribution of vertical spacings between zeros. We explain how these two conceptually different problems come together in a recent breakthrough announced by Claude, which shows that more than 2/3 of the non-trivial zeros lie on the critical line.
