Title: What is Shor's Algorithm?

Speaker: Vilas Winstein (Ohio State University)

Abstract: Shor's algorithm is a quantum algorithm that factors integers faster than any known classical algorithm. In this talk, we will cover the basics of quantum computation and then discuss the details of the algorithm.
