Percy Deift of the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, is the 2015 Radó Lecturer. The Radó Lectures were established to honor the memory of Tibor Radó, who was a member of the OSU Department of Mathematics from 1930 until his death in 1965. Deift will present talks on Universality in numerical computations with random data, Riemann-Hilbert problems, and On the asymptotic behavior of a log gas in the bulk scaling limit in the presence of a varying external potential. Detailed information on the three Deift lectures can be found at http://math.osu.edu/events/2015-rado-lectures-percy-deift.
