The Sherry Chan Actuarial Endowment Scholarship is a new scholarship for OSU Actuarial Science students. In the first year, scholarships of $3500 will be awarded to two of our students. Preference will be given to students who have volunteered or served in their community and/or student organizations in the past couple of years. Further, a secondary preference is for students who have passed actuarial exams. A panel of outside actuaries reviewed responses to the following prompt: Talk about an individual or individuals supported you in your actuarial journey so far and how you hope to support others pursuing the actuarial profession or the actuarial profession itself.
