Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

I am a fourth-year PhD student studying mathematical biology in Professor Adriana Dawes' Lab group. I am interested in how we can understand qualitative features of biological systems without specifying any model equations. We make minimal assumptions about the system and therefore can be more confident in our predictions. On the mathematics side, I primarily study differential equations and use tools from bifurcation theory and numerical analysis.
