Visiting Companies: Milliman and Westfield
Description: Many insurance companies, consulting firms, and banks come to the Math Department to conduct information sessions and recruit in the fall. They will give presentations on different areas of actuarial and risk management practices, talk about the business, organization, and culture of their companies, and explain what they expect from a candidate. These sessions are good opportunities for students to get ideas and to learn how to prepare for a career in actuarial science or risk management.
