Title: Some sparse random things
Speaker: Jeff Kahn, Rutgers University
Seminar Type: Combinatorics
Abstract: One of the more interesting of recent combinatorial directions has been the attempt to understand the extent to which various classical facts remain true in a random setting. I’ll mention a few things we know along these lines and a couple we don’t, and perhaps hint at ideas that have been used to attack one or two of these problems.
