Bart Snapp of the OSU Mathematics Department has been awarded a Textbook Affordability Grant, sponsored by the Univerity Libraries, the Office of Distance Education and E-Learning (ODEE), and the Undergraduate Student Government.

The grant supports the adoption of low- or no-cost course materials for students in order to make education more affordable. Snapp plans to use the grant to create an open textbook for Math 1151 (Calculus I).
