Bo Guan Named 2027 American Mathematical Society Fellow
Professor Bo Guan has been named to the 2027 Class of Fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS), one of the Society's highest honors, recognizing distinguished contributions to the mathematical sciences.
The 2027 class includes 43 mathematicians from institutions around the world. Now in its fifteenth year, the AMS Fellows program recognizes scholars whose work has made significant contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication and application of mathematics.
Professor Guan's research areas include partial differential equations and geometric analysis.
Election as an AMS Fellow is a significant professional honor. Candidates are nominated by their colleagues and selected through a competitive peer-review process conducted by the Society's Fellows Selection Committee. Each year's class represents a small fraction of the AMS membership.
The AMS Fellows program recognizes excellence across the mathematical sciences and celebrates individuals whose work advances mathematical research and strengthens the broader mathematical community.
Congratulations to Professor Guan on this outstanding achievement!
