Hsian-Hua Tseng named Fellow of the AMS

Professor Hsian-Hua Tseng has been selected as a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for 2025.

The AMS Fellows program recognizes mathematicians who "have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics." Forty mathematical scientists from around the world have been named AMS Fellows for 2025, the program's 13th year.

Tseng's areas of expertise include algebraic geometry, symplectic topology and geometry, mirror symmetry, Gromov-Witten theory and moduli spaces.  He received his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley in 2005, and first joined the Ohio State University as an Assistant Professor in 2009.  For more about his research, see his professional site.
