James Marshall Reber

Congratulations to James Marshall Reber, who has been awarded a 2025 Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation. This NSF Fellowship is one of the most prestigious awards a mathematician can receive at this stage of their career. Dr. Marshall Reber plans to spend the next three years at the University of Chicago, teaching and working on his project "Beyond Marked Length Spectrum Rigidity." See the full announcement on the NSF website: https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2503020

Dr. Marshall Reber recently defended his Ph.D. thesis under supervision of Prof. Andrey Gogolyev, in which he made significant advances on the Marked Length Spectrum Rigidity problem for magnetic systems on surfaces.
