Marissa Renardy selected for an Outstanding Graduate Student Award

Renardy

Marissa Renardy has been selected for a 2018 Outstanding Graduate Student Award for her work developing an OSU chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), and making that chapter thrive.

Marissa's nomination described the great influence of her work on graduate student leadership in the Mathematics department, including leading a group of chapter officers who will keep the AWM chapter going, initiating a wide range of activities such as social events, movie nights and visiting speakers, and, lately, organizing an information-sharing event for women graduate students and postdocs.

Congratulations to Marissa!
