Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Niko Schonsheck wins GATA award

Niko Schonsheck

Congratulations to Niko Schonsheck who has received a 2020 Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) from the university's Graduate School!

A GATA award is Ohio State's highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates. The selection of winners is highly competitive. Each year only ten of OSU's more than 3,000 GTAs are chosen as GATA recipients from typically hundreds of nominees. Niko received his bachelor's degree from Vassar College and joined our doctoral program in 2015. He is currently working with Dr. John Harper as his advisor.
