Sri Ravindran, an MAQRM student, won a third prize in an insurance and risk management contest. The research question is: how will climate change and population migration affect insurers?

As one of the finalists, Sri presented her work in the Fall Symposium—Future of Insurance: Climate Risk & Insurance Implications at the University of Illinois on November 8. Sri was awarded a $1,500 award from The Battle of the Elements Contest sponsored by AXIS and the Office of Risk Management and Insurance Research.
