Robin Baidya wins the 2013 University Diversity Award

The Department of Mathematics is pleased to announce that Robin Baidya, who has a 2012 BS in mathematics from OSU, is the sole undergraduate  (as a continuing education student) winner of the 2013 Diversity Engagement Award from OSU. This award was for work (as a film, lecture, and workshop coordinator) with Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM), an organization that aims to provide services, support, education, and networking opportunities to STEM students who identify as part of a gender minority, sex minority, or sexual minority (i.e., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, intersex, asexual, etc.).
